Take a virtual walkthrough of our Khewra raw mineral sorting bays, woodworking shop, and UL/CE electrical testing stations.
Every stage between raw crystal and a sealed export carton, and why each one decides what arrives at your port.
Raw blocks arrive from the Khewra Salt Range and are graded by colour and mineral density before cutting. Light Pink, Deep Amber, Snow White and Mineral Grey are separated at this stage, because trying to match colour after carving is what causes shipment-to-shipment drift.
Blocks are sawn to weight band or dimension, then hand-carved by craftsmen for shaped items — pyramids, spheres, fire bowls, animals, angels and custom forms. Natural lamps keep their raw crystalline face and are shaped only at the base.
Pieces are diamond-polished to bring out translucency, then drilled for bulb housings and cable routing. Bore depth and diameter are set per weight band so the bulb sits at the right height to light the crystal evenly rather than creating a hot spot.
Lamps are mounted on neem, sheesham, painted or engraved hardwood, or powder-coated metal. Cord sets are fitted to destination standard — UL and ETL for North America, CE, RoHS and UKCA for Europe and the UK, SAA for Australia and New Zealand, PSE for Japan — and every assembly is continuity tested.
Salt draws moisture, and a 30 to 45 day ocean transit is where weak packing fails. Each piece is high-density shrink wrapped straight after polishing, boxed with food-grade silica gel, and packed into 5-ply export corrugated cartons. Containers are lined with moisture-absorbing poles.
Cartons are checked against the packing list for count, grade and finish before palletising. Loading is consolidated at Karachi Port or Port Qasim, and export documentation is prepared in-house rather than handed to a third party.
See it before you commit. We would rather walk a prospective buyer through the line on a live video call than push a first container. You can ask to see raw block grading, the carving floor, cord testing, or how a carton is actually packed — the stages that decide whether your shipment arrives intact and consistent. Buyers who intend to re-order care about consistency between shipments, and that is far easier to demonstrate before money moves than to argue about afterwards.
Our facility at Mandiala Warriach Rd, Gulshan Colony, Gujranwala, 52250 processes over 15,000 metric tons a year with capacity for roughly 60 full container loads per month, operating under ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP systems with GMP practice for edible grades.
